Elk Espresso

Elk Espresso is an (almost) beach side cafe on the Gold Coast that serves up great coffee and meals at decent prices. The staff were all really friendly which is always a big selling point for me. The coffee was better than most but I probably wouldn’t rate it as the best. Their well known caramel coffee shake will hit the spot if you are after something sweet, otherwise you can make your own combination of fresh juice and of course the babycino’s were a hit with a nice big marshmallow on the side.

I especially loved that the babycino’s came in small rubber cups that we didn’t have to worry about them dropping. I loved these so much that I have tracked them down to get some for myself.

The colour scheme was a big hit with me as well with natural wood tones and pops of a pretty teal colour. The fresh sunflowers were a nice touch too.

The food is delicious and well priced making it an affordable trip out on the weekend. And you can wander across the road to the beach or the playground afterwards to keep everyone happy.
