Easter Craft

Today we began building up the hype for Easter in our household. Yes, I must admit that the hot cross buns have been consumed and even a few chocolate eggs but we haven’t done the serious stuff yet - in this household, that is the craft.

Miss 3 and I made these adorable little bunnies. They are bright, easy and she will have fun playing with this family of rabbits for the next couple of weeks. We simply painted a few toilet rolls. I cut a couple of rings off a toilet roll for the ears. Once the paint dried we pulled out the craft box and glued on some eyes and a fuzzy nose. Of course they have a cotton ball tail and I drew on his whiskers and mouth.

We also had fun colouring in eggs that I just cut out of plain paper. We then zig zag cut some in half and we drew a little chicken, cut him out and glued him so he was popping out of the egg. We also made rabbit masks and drew lots of little rabbits hopping around and there were a few sparkles being glued on random things by the end of it all.
