Canteen Coffee

Canteen Coffee is a hideaway coffee shop down an alleyway in Burleigh that has a crisp breeze blowing through most days, so pack a jumper. But it is well worth it because the coffee is amazing!!! I would even go as far to say that this is the best coffee I have had on the Gold Coast. I don’t think I am alone on this one. The place is always buzzing with a constant stream of people enjoying a coffee. And I can see why, the baristas here are passionate about their coffee. They offer a premium blend and single origin as well. You can even buy some beans to take home to try on your own machine.

The atmosphere is what I would call ‘modern raw’. They haven’t got the old furniture and vintage vibe that seems to be popping up everywhere at the moment, rather a clean cut, simple style with lots of wood and greenery. The coffee was rich and smooth, just right for washing down the thick fruit toast and salted caramel tart.
