A perfect day out in (& around) James Street Burleigh
It is no secret that James Street Burleigh Heads is full of wonderful finds and that we are regulars at many places here, but recently we have found a few new places to add to our favourites list.
Six Things
“Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast”. Queen of Hearts, Alice in Wonderland
I love this store! A bunch of designers have set up a store full of gorgeous bits and pieces that I am sure have been selected just for my pleasure. You can shop online but I think it is much more fun visiting the store, which is right across from Burleigh Beach and conveniently near a bunch of fabulous cafes. They have only been open since March so may be a little bit of a secret still, but one I am happy to share.
Yogurt Zone
Just around the corner on James Street Burleigh is Yogurt Zone where you can help yourself to as much or as little of the good stuff as you like. First you select your flavour combination and then decorate it with fresh toppings then you simply pay by the weight of what you make. They change flavours all the time but there are always six to choose from. I loved the coconut and passionfruit combination, but the acai berry was good too, and the chocolate and …. I heard they have just introduced waffle bowls! Frozen Yogurt seems to be growing in popularity and I can see why, its tasty and fun. Hint - show them your facebook like and you get a discount!
Urban Groove
This is a great shop to go to when you are shopping for someone who is difficult to buy for. A collection of quirky, beautiful and brilliant stuff. It’s a fun shop to go to even if you are just window shopping. Sneaky hint - Like them on Facebook and you can keep an eye out for special offers.
With the beach, the esplanade and several playgrounds just across the road it is always a good day out in James Street and these are just a couple of awesome places to see while you are there.
